I came to Canada in 1999 from Kazakhstan USSR. From first days in P&D on Carlton till this very moment my whole life unfolds on Yonge-Dundas. I am grate to EW6 Theatre Centre as it my job in Toronto.
I've lived in downtown Toronto since I was 3 years old. I'm now 35 and I love it! There`s a heartbeat and cultural membrane that makes downtown such a lively place to be. Seeing it evolve from old Sam the Record Man or the spot where Lick`s used to be is quite awesome.
Growing up in Victoria, our Downtown is interwoven into so many of my childhood memories. From walking down to the causeway to see buskers perform and listening for the sound of the "train" approaching at the Royal BC Museum with my Mom, to gorging on pasta and bread at Pagliacci's with my Dad, Downtown Victoria has become part of my story.
